Remember a few bits back when I posted that Carl Sagan remix? Well, a certain Mr. Jack White was so impressed by that little beauty that he’s gonna release it on a 150 run 7″ vinyl via his label, Third Man Records. Saweet. It’ll be released on November 9th to coincide with what would have been Sagan’s 75th birthday.

For Halloween, I went to a party as David Beckham and most people were slightly confused as to why I was wearing cleats in the house on the clean carpet. For Halloween, Ted Leo went as Glenn Danzig and completed a royal Misfit affair with a few friends. I doubt anyone wondered why Ted was wearing his hair in a devilock. The performance is actually pretty fantastic.

Them Crooked Vultures has released another single via iTunes. When last checked, the download was free. The song is Mind Eraser (No Chaser). It certainly is a rollicking rocker full of sweet riffs and an awesome grooving beat to it. You can hear Mr. Grohl taking some back up singing duties during the chorus.  Ch-ch-check it out.
